Does any one know if the LED H4 head light bulbs are any good and are they better than halogen bulbs? Will they work on our sleds or will they wreck something?

Tom is right on.
They are better than stock, however they do not compare to HIDs at this time.
Give it a few years, they are getting better.
Until then, get the HIDs.
Is like riding in daylight!
PS The real problem with the LEDs is lack of a good light pattern, yes many are very bright, however, most do not put the light where you need it, On The Trail!

I put this on my 06 Apex. It's the low beam only but bright as hell. No need for the high beam and it only cost $48 for the slim balast kit.

I had tried a kit like that but I thought that it was so cheap that I didn't want to get stuck out on the trail with no lights. I would buy Rock's kit but I don't have the money at this time.

Chadman I've run it on my truck for two years before State Police made me take it out and I've run it 3 years on my sled with no issues. The other sled I run with has the kit through Yamaha so if it ever goes down I'll just limp home behind him at night. It's plenty bright at night.

I'm looking at this one.
http://www.cyclopsadventuresports.com/3600-Lumen-H4-H6M-LED-Headlight-bulb-_p_83.html
Most of the LED lights are 1800 lumen with 2 sides. This has 3.
Are the apex headlights DC or AC?
