i have rocks led kit in my apex and enticer II. just drove a leafer last weekend that i had an xenon bulb in and it paled beside the led sleds badly. as the leaf spring sled suffered a mechanical issue after 100 miles of riding i ended up on the apex to finish the trip at 10 at night and it was a relief to ride in the trails with the led.
i had to ditch the ebay kit the po had put in the phazer this year as it was strobing bad. stock bulbs, it lit up and was fine for the season. do not have many hours on it this season but hoping for a good run on it to see if i am putting a kit from rock into it.

I like the ease and simplicity of the LED system but again the reflector in the headlight case was not really meant for a one sided light source. It was developed with a filament bulb that produces 360 light to focus the beam.
The HID system in my sled powers this beam a lot further than the stock or even PIAA bulbs. The HID does not fix the large gap between high and low but it does make my night driving a lot more enjoyable.
Would like to see a LED system side by side with HID system in the same type of sleds.

I know this is old but if the low beam stays on it is not just a one sided light source?I like the ease and simplicity of the LED system but again the reflector in the headlight case was not really meant for a one sided light source. Some led bulbs are better then others, buyer beware! Some are just plain crap! GTR gen 3 leds are great and are about 200 buck a set!
