The skinz seat only loses a lot of weight when you add the under tunnel kit with it. The SDR under tunnel exhaust is a complete kit that would both lose dry and riding weight. You could also fab your own under tunnel exhaust.
The battery option is easy and plan on doing it this year also.
From my reading because I am modding my sled right now too, I would suggest researching removing the foam on the panels, under tunnel exhaust, battery and relocating your tools. After that, you really start paying for items.
Do you mainly trail ride? I ask because some other mods may be better then just focusing on losing weight.
Yes...I only trail ride...
If i only trail rode, I would not worry a ton about weight. I would first get skis with some shaper bars, roest skid plate, trail tank, heated shield and maybe relocate the handlebars.

The YTZ10 battery will drop 7 lbs. Another fairly inexpensive weight loss are RMK Gripper skis if you can find a nice used pair. They're 4 lbs lighter(total) than MTX skis and work better too.
There is ton of weight to be lost, just depends on how deep your pockets are and how creative you want to get.

It is a 3lb pound battery with the same power and is a little over 200 bucks. Yes, I plan on buying one.

Looks like the 12 is the way to go. Only 3 lbs and better specs than the factory battery. May have to buy one and try it out.
