Swiss Sledder said:Reaper had no problems with his Phazer FX in our group. The day we rode there was an Apex, 03 RX-1, Attak, and a 03 Rev Blair Morgan. We rode pretty darn fast and the Phazer stayed in the middle most of the day except on the big lakes. Since you are from the Winnipeg area, we rode from Rennie to Tyndall in 90 minutes. In the fields, Reaper was actually in front of us all.manitoba rx1 said:Not thinkin of it as a lake racer, but I have my limits on how slow I'm willing to go. I mean really the average speed you going to ride is about 50-60 mph down good ditches and long trail straights, but in those long fields I want to at least stay somewhere near the pack...not 2 miles behind.
You would be 2 miles behind on the trail up the lake from Gimli to Riverton, but the Phazer FX with the right rider could lead the group on the trails.
AND GRINNING ALL THE WAY, ALWAYS A GAS TO RIDE WITH YOU MATT.
WE DID OVER 300KM THAT DAY AND I WAS FRESH AS A DAISY COMING OFF THE PHAZER.
CLOSE TO 2,000KM OFF HARD RIDING ON THE SLED WITH ZERO PROBLEMS, SWISS SLEDDER CAN CONFIRM

I ran 160 km/h on the speedo and backed it up with another pass at 156km/h. It's a GT and was on ice.
Highway Patrol!
92mph on radar!
99 on dream meter!
Maybe I would have left off when I saw the flashing lights but, dang it I wanted to see a three digit number looking back at me! lol

Rode all year with a fellow on a Rev 800 and a Rengade 600. The only time I was wishing for more speed was on Lee River and running the ditch from Libau back to Selkirk. All other rides I was leading the pack. I was seeing 130-135km/hr on the speedo. Also ran with a MXZ500 and as another post said it will pull it especially of the bottom up to 100km/hr. It depends on how you ride. If you want to do a 150mile trip tearing up trails and banging the ditches I would recommend the FX.
