Does anyone know if a guage flash will recover a lost IACT/iQS function.
My IACT stopped working and my diagnoses points to the gauge.

No codes, nothing. It's like I don't have the feature. If I unplug the module or a shock I get a communication code. Plug it back in and code is gone. I check continuity of the harness and it is good. Everything else works on the gauge and the thumb button works for the other features.

It could be the unit. I had to replace mine. Did you have the gauge or CDI flashed with a tune prior to this loss of function.

When I unplug the control unit I get a communication error which leads me to believe the control unit is ok. But I truly don't know. No tunes or gauge flashes.

I still thinks it the unit. When you turn on key and wait a few minutes you should get IQS communication alert on the left gauge. Did you ever get that?

2019 ltx le— I had to replace my dash/gage cluster to fix my iqs — spent way to much time going over everything— finally used a Tcat to swap hoods and my Yamaha all of a sudden has iact and I could change my shocks— so went a step further and removed and swapped just the dash/gage cluster to eliminate hood harness wires—- sure enough it worked— so 500 bucks later a new dash/gage cluster fix my IQs—

No codes for me just did not work and iqs never showed up on the dash—- Tod

Supposedly and overheating issue in the dash—- I may tear my old one apart and see what I can find—- funny thing is I have sold my original dash three time to people that need one without iqs but then everyone never follows through—- last person that wanted it I just gave it to him to try and he said I’d did not work on his viper—--so I still have it—Tod

I don't get anything iACT/iQS related on the dash. It stopped working when I fixed a bared wire under the fuse block. The wire was for my reverse. I don't know if it is related or not. The dealer said they have replaced a few gauges for the iACT. The seen to lose the programming. I was in contact with GTP Performance in Quebec. They say they can reprogram it. They need my ECU and Gauge. They want $600 Canadian to do it.

For that price you may as well do a full performance gauge flash.. LOL

I looking into what's included for that price. Ordering a new gauge from the US and having it shipped is close in price. Ideally I would find a used one for half the price of the re programming.
I'd like to confirm the exact problem before spending any money.

I have a buddy with 21 SRX. It's tuned with the gauge flash. I'm a bit reluctant to start swapping parts with it. A stock sled might be a better candidate.

I was very nervous switching parts with my friends sled—- especially not knowing what was wrong— the possibility of screwing up his dash was not good—- but I had gone through everything—- so went for it—lol-
