That I am uncertain about. I know I have removed them and save the boots in the process but I have not looked for replacements.

I wanted to powder coat the arms ....wasn’t sure they came out since there isn’t a part number for them. Are they difficult to get out?

So how exactly do you remove this ball joint? Seems like the rubber is attached to the arm. Hate to damage it.
From looking at it ...I would say they powder coated it after the ball joint was installed...cause there powder covering the rubber. Guess if I want to re powder coat it shouldn’t hurt the rubber. Anyone try powder coating it with the ball joint in?

Small flat screw driver down at the base and carefully pry the boot out. Should be a snap ring and then they are pressed into the arms.

Yes very snug. But it fit back on and it was snug again.

Because the dust boot was bonded to the arm...did yours leak after...don’t think it will seal properly now in the arm side.

I did my brothers Viper and it was not a problem. If you worried about it and it dont fit snug you could add a little supper glue or Yama-Bond. Clean thoroughly with contact spray or alcohol on the mating surface.
