My question is if i'm running 118 octane fuel will i make more boost? I took out last nite to try a new primary spring and its still max boosting at 10 lbs. I'm going up next week amd will be running 92 octane in it and don't want to cause any damage in it. And if i need to turn down the boost how do i do it.

I don't think fuel will change the boost level. That is the job of the wastegate.
Before anyone will be able to answer your question about how much boost you can run they will need to know what type of sled you have? What kind of turbo? Does it have lowered compression, etc.
For bender all you have to do it flip a switch to go from low to high boost. Otherwise a boost controller will help. If you have non of those you will have to change the length of the rod in the wastegate to increase or decrease boost. This is a pain in the a$$ and really needs to be done in the shop.
Anyway, let us know what you have for sled, turbo etc and we will go from there.
Oh then there is the whole "how much boost with what type of gas vs how much boost with lowered compression with what type of gas" debate. There have been multiple posts on this so you might want to do a search for that one.

Its an 07 apex cpr front mount, never touched the waste gate. came how it is from jeff. stock compression. As ted has told me i'm dancing on land mines until i lower compression, which i need to pay allen ulmer for so he can send them out. do i need to lengthen the rod or shorten it. I'm going to see if i can find a boost controller in the clasifieds. 10 lbs. of boost in the trails is to much. I want to take it back down to 8 lbs.

i believe it's the gt28 turbo. lower the boost to be safe on 92 octane

You will want to lengthen the wastegate to decrease boost.
Here is an article on it.

shortening the rod builds more boost, lengthen to lower.

i will go lengthen it now, thanks for the help. If i buy an electronic boost controller is that rod eliminated.

No, it is still the rod and wastegate actuator that will ultimately control the boost. An electronic controller just manipulates the pulse signal that the actuator sees.

10 PSI = ~69Kpa
Are you sure there isn't a way to change display units in the set-up?

no its just a hks ev limited black. I should of known when all the instructions were in japanese. So i tried it last nite for a little bit. and it went to 7.8 psi. I had the controller up a little bit. I was reading the instructions and it says it all works of my baseline. which is set by the rod on the wastegate? Do i need to adjust the rod? i guess i will just play with it.

What they mean is that it will adjust boost upwards only from your lowest setting with the wastegate rod. As an example, let's say you want your low boost setting to be 8lbs. You would adjust the rod length to give you this amount of boost. Then you install the controller. The controller will increase boost as you adjust it, but it can never adjust below your baseline.

wastegate adjustment.
On my bender Turbo two complete turns = 1 psi on wastegate. Does this sound right? Can't remember since I have not adjusted in a long time.

Re: wastegate adjustment.
My experience is that 3 turns = 1lb, but that's just a generalization.
