MCX will announce their kit(s) to Viper in Aprill

Shortly:
- Right side panel looks nice after some modification.
- Turbo works better than in Nytro, no bog at dynocurve when the boost starts
- More power, 290hp with 1.2bar
- Costs probably less than kit to Nytro

Of course it's going to build boost quicker with closer location of turbine to engine. MCX Nytro is rated at 270hp with 1.00bar and what factors make the Viper run just as safe at 290hp with 1.20bar? Assuming we are comparing same minimum octane requirement.

As BADSLED said, The kits are still 270 horse. But the Viper is $100 less for the 190 kit and $600 less than the Nytro. This is from the 2014 Dealer Price List.

At $4599 For the Viper 190 kit, MCX has done a great job of giving you a MCX quality kit at a great price.

I have heard of mixed results on water cooling of turbos on sleds. Without a doubt, if MCX feels it's necessary for the Viper design they use it.

Whats the downside of watercooling ?
When its a rearmount i can see why its not needed.

MCX 270 kit with display ordered. Assembly in MCX premises on january. Any other done decicions? I will buy the sled later I have kind of booked one but it get's some mods so the price is open. But the kit has been secured in good time.

Do the Mistsu turbos have a restrictor on the oil feed line or is ita straight oil line?

No restrictor on the rx-1, apex or nytro kits

Maybe you could offer them reduced advertising pricing in exchange for special pricing on their kits to TY members ... Might get them on board. At least allow them to see how effective they can be as an advertiser here with an "introductory" offer, and see how they respond. Could be a win/win for MCX and TY.
