Midwest snow report

Me too. I just love an intense storm.
I can remember back in the day riding back from grand Marais to Munising at night with a group of guys. Could barely see the guy in front of you had to stay close enough to see the taillight! The Kingston plains area right off superior would just get hammered! Very exciting I loved it. Playing around off trail in the plains was a lot of fun too. Been thinking about adding a crossover sled to the fleet to play up there. My buddy has a cabin in wetmore and I like to make a trip up there at least once a season

Blizzard now.

Not exactly the most desirable area, but it's open.
Monday afternoon 70% of Wis will be open, as they will provide updates. Lots & lots of water holes, as I'm sure you could imagine.

Its a start. Wating for a base to set up then ill go out riding. Groomers are out in most areas.

I'm 400 miles south of you, You guys are going to be 10° warmer this week than us. Going to shoot for my first ride on Wednesday/Thursday local.....

My buddy in Munising/ wetmore area said they hadn’t started grooming as of yesterday

What these clubs need more than anything is for everyone to go home. Let these clubs get after panning and packing without having to stop for traffic. Clean up debris from high winds, bust thru all the drifting then start laying a ribbon. With these cold temps headed in they should set up pretty nice.

Its too to bad the UP doesn't have rules like Wis.
Everyone's on their way now, with nothing to stop them.
Plus local businesses are so ready for the extra dough. They are baiting everyone in on FB
I'd like to see everyone give it another week....oh well.

Lots of traffic all weekend by me and groomers have been non-stop since friday and surprisingly the trail are pretty good… We had high winds but not much fell on trails at all… The trails are flat and in good shape for being bare ground two weeks ago… But I hear what your saying when riders get in the way of groomers… As long as lake effect snow continues everything should work out …
