Figure I'll start with a bit of an intro... Been riding Yamaha snowmobiles since I was 3-4 years old... I can remember riding in our back woods... I would sit in front of my dad and hold on to the handle bars... By 6 I was 2up for 100+ mile rides... Between 9-10 I got my safety certificate and my first sled... It was a 1980 250 Enticer... Just about every time my dad got a new sled I rode his old one... And so the list goes(not necessarily in purchased order) 1980 250 Enticer, 1985 Phazer, 1989 Ovation, 1989 Phazer, 1992 Exciter II, 1995 Vmax 600, 1996 Vmax 600, 1997 Sx700, 2001 Srx700... This is the point where I purchased my first sled. It was his '97 SX and I started doing my own basic maintenance... This also allowed me to go on trips with out his approval... So off I went... Into the White U.P. abyss:



In 2005 I purchased a Rage... And my love for the Yamaha 4Stroke was ignited... That year I essentially rode across the whole U.P. alone... Nearly 3000 miles plus 1000+ in MN:


At the end of that season my dad's trailer with my Rage and his Srx got stolen... I purchased a car and he bought a 2005 Viper(I still had the SX700)... Two years ago My dad picked up a used '07 Apex and so my obsession was sparked again...

2012-13 Breakin miles

Picked this guy up in Late March 2013:

Bent both R side Arms around mile 300... Nursed it home... and parked it for the season... That gave me all summer to lurk the forum... Thanks TY for this wonderful resource!!! Sometime in October 2013 I started thinking of getting it ready to ride for the 2013-14 season:
