At 60 or 70 MPH your into boost, mileage , forget it.
How can you tune low speed and cruise if you have your gauge on the intercooler side of the throttle plate. Kinger is right, always monitor your pressure on the head side of the throttle plate. and I agree again, the throttle plate doesn't have to open very far to see intercooler presure, but you should have a vacumn/pressure guage so you can see all the pressures. RX1's and Apex's don't have very low absolute pressures not much below 70KPA, (10in' HG), but you still need to watch all of it if your going to try and get mileage. Worse yet without some data collection system that will record all the pressures so you can play back and look at the relationships between RPM, throttle position or load, O2 and manifold pressures, Good Luck

With clutching , bypass valve , gems set up properly , you can easily get 110 + miles per tank !
We have for 4 years plus.
This year the tc mcx apex was even better ! 120 m per tank

So your saying your supercharged apex is getting 10 to 11 mpg on a stock tank which is 10 gallons. running at 10 psi. My front mount turbo with a gt2860 turbo with the custom tank which is about 8 to 8.5 gallons running 18 lbs boost is getting about 105 miles out of a tank. I don't feel so bad now. AFR at idle 14.5, wide open at 12.5. If Allen is working on the pcv with auto tune. It would still be cheaper than going full ecu.Full ecu= Race sled yes, trail sled no. Aftermarket crank triggers don't like mogels to well. No pun at you Greg but we want to ride trails with mogels. Dynojet is who makes the pcv (Power Commander V). PCV $369.99. Ignition module $355.00. Auto tune kit $369. Maybe alittle more with extra harnesses that may be needed. So were back up to the $1,400.00 mark again. We know the Power Commander and ignition modules work on our sleds, now Auto tune plugs into it and you have to add a O2 sensor which most of us have already. Oh and power and ground wire also. If i had the time and snow i'd try it but i don't have either.

I found this. They already make one for the 09-10 apex. Just no maps:

Please understand My Tec systems use the Yamaha crank trigger sensor. I change the trigger wheel but use the Yamaha sensor in the orginal location. I am able to keep everything inside just as Yamaha does and also eliminate the need for any timing issues. You do not need to time my system, it's fixed and if there is any error in timing, which I have NOT seen, you can correct it electronically.
I need to clarify something in my previous post. When I said you should plumb your boost gauges and map sensors on the head side of the throttle plates, I did not mean to say if your using a Gems, Dobeck, piggy back controller that it should be plumbed there. In fact it is very important not to have the Dobeck sensor see any vacumn, it will hurt it. Read your manufactures instructions as to where to connect their boost reference.

Sorry guys, I meant to say that your GEMS is seeing boost on the high pressure side of the throttle blade (not the boost gage, in fact I do have my boost gage on the low pressure side). If GEMS sees high boost, it adds fuel, even when you don't need it, like with light throttle but high speed (60-70 on a hard packed surface).
I wish there were some data available that maps the pressure differential across the blade as it travels thru its range of closure.
If you are seeing 8 psi at the head with a low throttle opening, then you most certainly are seeing way more at the GEMS, thus you are getting more fuel than you need.

Yes with my SC on a 10 gallon tank I have seen 90-100 miles on a tank but around 70-80 I have to be careful and plan my gas stop and no more throttle fun till I get gas. I also have a different fuel pump and I cannot suck the last 1-1.5 gallons out of the tank.
This summer my project is a building a 5 gallon gas can into the seat and look at having the fuel pick up for my fuel pump on the stock tank on the bottom and back of the tank, then I should be able to see a 120-150 miles a tank all with no regard for how much fun I'm having. (ie lots of throttle!)
Light loads crusing I could get 120 miles on a tank but that is no fun!
Turbos will ALWAYS be easier on fuel unless MPI makes a clutch thing to let the SC free wheel at light loads and not build boost. Or we do like what MULOT30 did and add throttle body to the intercooler tied to the throttle that closes at WOT otherwise blows off all boost at light loads.

Allen your talking about the Apex right? I know they had one for the nytro but wasn't sure about a PCV for the apex.
Sounds great and price is spot on.

How soon will this be ready?? Any word on the air kit on the SE?

With Allens' customer service this will be sweet. Does the pcv do ignition also? Even if we have to buy that also, we are still under $1400. @ Mr. Sled. Did you look at the dynojet website on the autotune? Set what you want afr to be in a range and with lcd with logging you can see where your at. I believe even if you have bigger injectors it still adjusts for the afr. I also found out rapid bike doesn't make the rb3 anymore. They make a evo unit and a racing one that has the ability to auto tune.
