??? You won't swing your leg over nothing but a Yamaha? ah I hate to break this to you... but your swinging your leg over a CAT, maybe your secretly wearing green long johns.Mr Sled you are absolutely right social media is going to kill this country oh wait it already has. I do appreciate all you do for this site it is a wealth of information. I don't know how you do it to be honest I realize that everyone has there own opinion but it sure seems to me there are certain individuals on this site that don't really care what Yamaha does. They say they bleed blue but just seems to me they are just stiring the pot and are really just Ski Doo trolls. I will use this as an example I won't buy a SideWinder because it doesn't have EPS, Yamaha introduced Winder with EPS, I won't buy a SideWinder because it is in a Pro Cross chassis. It never ends, Snowmobiles are a very small part of Yamaha and the way the weather has been and the price of these things how can anyone justify buying a new one every year. I'm just happy Yamaha is still in the game period. I've said this before Yamaha's are not perfect but neither are any of the other manufacturers all you here is the bad, there are plenty of stock Vipers and Winders out there with no problems. I guess that is what a forum is for everyone to voice there opions and it is what it is. I have been a Yamaha guy my whole life and not just snowmobile you won't catch me swinging my leg over anything else no matter what the circumstances, to me thats true blue Yamaha. I hope you stay Mr Sled but I honestly wouldn't blame you for pulling the plug with no insite on the future and all the carp talk that has been on here lately. Thanks Again for all you do.

I feel for you. It seems like lately every thread somehow devolves into a Yamaha (mainly apex) vs Yamacat argument. Sort of reminds me of the current political climate in the USA. There’s no gray anymore, just black and white, red/blue, or in this case Yamaha blue / cat blue. I have an apex and a winder. They both have things I like and warts I don’t. Different sleds, both fun to ride, but different. And yes they both have issues that need to be addressed at some point. Different issues, but issues all the same. There’s a reason the aftermarket companies exist. For how I like to ride at this stage of life I’ll take the cat chassis every time. It’s a different strokes for different folks type of deal. I’m at a loss as to why so much time is spent here trying to convince the peeps on the other chassis that they are wrong and whatever chassis the poster is on is the right one. Ride what you pride and pride what you ride but there’s a pretty good chance that telling someone their sleds sucks because it’s not in the chassis you prefer isn’t going to accomplish anything and doesn’t add any value to the site other than post counts

What you boys like to do in your spare time does not need to be posted in here. Maybe keep it for that bookface or toktik thing.

It will be a sad day if this site goes down. Yes I have facebook but I don't use it for it's blogs for Yamaha. Yamaha belongs right here. If you need info it's here on this site. For the most part people are very far and give great advice. The arguing about what sled is Yamaha and Yama/cat can stop at anytime. We all know what they are. If you don't like them then don't buy them. Mr.Sled I love this site and appreciate everything you do for it.

Don't have Face book or tictok for that matter, been riding Yamaha sleds sense 78 with my first enticer 340 was a sled ahead of its time, had many other brands over the years but nothing matched Yamaha's quality and dependability, so stuck with Yamaha and enjoyed many years of pride and being apart of almost like a cult like following and couldn't wait to see what they come out with next, and they would answer the call, market share clearly showed it at the time, today when Yamaha teamed up with Cat was like a sword was shoved in my spine and twisted, ok only 4 years they would be on their feet again because of circumstances in Japan, they lied, I will never get over it, watching a class leading snowmobile company fall into the hands of Textron, the Yamicats may have yami engines and ride and handle better then the Yamaha chassis which is great, but I was spoiled by Yamaha's passion of days gone by and just want it back, others may feel the same, I have nothing but Yamaha products in my shop, i am a TRUE BLUE and sorry I will not except nothing else.

This is a great post. Social media in general has turned into a bitch fest of keyboard jockeys and mechanics. I find myself doing it also and just remember to back down, not worth it. That mentality has unfortunatly made its way here.

I think it has existed on forums in one form or another. Trolling, flaming, general disrespect. Things that most people wouldn't tell you in your face. That's why we have moderators to keep it under control. Something Facecrap lacks.
