muffler covers with sscc stamp can they be used to fit sandale 3" muffler

I just trimmed the back part to clear the bracket and used safety wire to bind together and did the same for the front sheild. When I assembled the exhaust be sure to have some clearance at the oil tank area. With the shields in place you can't tell from original.
