hey guys,
As of now,it looks like we will finally be out on Mary lake radaring this weekend...I will keep this thread updated as we get closer to weekend and know what day....As of now we typically will radar sundays, but this may change,as we are getting more snow back again and it MIGHT be good for riding,so if we are riding trails we will radar sunday,if we arent able to do alot of riding then we will radar probably both sat and sunday.
Anyone who recalls the threads i used to post on dootalk will remember the location, but here is info again.
Mary lake is located approx 2 hrs north of Toronto just off hwy 11....Port Sydney is the village and is located between Bracebridge and Huntsville ONT......From hwy 11 take the Port sydney road exit(hwy 141)Go toward Port Sydney(east from hwy 11) drive down Port Sydney road approx 2 miles until you see Mary lake and town dock on left of road.Unload there and ride out onto lakes LEFT(west) shoreline approx 1 mile, you will see us there just past the first island on left shore.
If we get more snow Daryl and Ed should be plowing it off,as of now the lake has most all ice with some blowing snow patches on it,as we had a mild spell and rain last weekend. It is still snowing as i type so ill update track conditions more later.
anyone located in central ontario, muskoka region or you just want to drive up,please feel free..should be a great time as we usually get a good turnout...if anyone wants to post this on dootalk thats fine, alot of mach boys should be there as well...It will be nice to see some different setups and how they work.
I will update this thread as we get closer.

Matt,
I am up for either on Sat. I just would like to run the gun again if I have time. Byron is thinking of coming over for some beers Friday night if you Dan and Fed want to head across the lake from Dans place. Let me know.
Cheers,
Kyle

Kyle...Matt,
still snowing here as i type..we got about 4 inches or so maybe 5....probably a few more tonight then looks like sun rest week....
I spoke to Byron just now and he said the groomers have been out over near his place,so the trails should be awesome!....HE and I and probably a couple others are going to try to get out tomorrow night for a ride, should be awesome!..He is working saturday and i think we will probably be trail riding most likely northward on great trails with few roads, then sunday hang here on mary lake for radaring...I will have to get my studs in!
Kyle, you gotta get sunday off bud and hang out till at least later sunday,as im hoping we get a great gang of guys over to radar,Byron should be over sunday so we will probably have 2 or maybe 3 guns...LOL..hes working sat.
Lakes are awesome now!..wind kept snow from getting deep on them so they are patchy snow/ice

kyle, call me...i think me and byron are going for a ride tonight, and lots of guys are coming up as it COULD be last weekend of riding,im thinking riding sat for sure and radaring sunday....the 5 inches we got last night was blown all around,as it was major windy last night and power went out....
lake looks real fast now, patchy snow and ice with the wind so radar should be good...i need to get some studs in ASAP.
call me here,if you need phone number PM me.

Dan, Let us know how all the sleds do and what distance they were running.I heard those dalton weights in your proline kit like to be spun near 11000 like the supertips I have in mine.

yes,im running them at 11000 too...I have only had sled for a few weeks and we finally got some radar type weather,we had 4 feet snow on lakes for so long now the rain took care of it...still lots in bush too for trails.
Im hoping my RTX is fast..but cant tell...i want to try some different WIND on driven clutch,as the 110 seems like too much for radars...
also,im hoping to try a stock LID to see if ram air helps or not.
I will surely post speeds as much as i can..
you should come up for weekend, muskoka is only 3.5 hrs north of buffalo NY.

Dan, just wondering if anybody could come and radar on Sunday? We are from New Lowell and Bradford. Have a new Apex with Ulmer clutch kit, 03 RX1 with Fix Powersports work done to it and a F9 from Art Seaver. Would like to come to play. Would that be ok?
Let me know.
Thanks Chris
Let me know.
Thanks Chris
Everyone is welcome out on Mary Lake. We usually have a pretty good turn out but like dan said this year we have been at the mercy of mother nature.

everyone is welcome...doos,poos,cats,yammies....daryl and ed are real nice guys and should be there sunday most the AM till at least 1pm or so...so i suggest people try to be there by 10am...i will also have another gun there and gps's....
I just got back from a trail ride here, the trails were quite amazing for the 60+ f degrees we had last weekend and over 50mm rain...they actually are grooming most the trails we ran tonight..roads are bare already after the 4-5 inches and forecast says sun for next 5 days, but below freezing temps should keep all well.
The lake is ICE with some snow patches as of now...its abit rough in spots and other spots are smooth and glare,so we surely should be able to find a great 1 mile stretch easy enough,I havent studded mine yet and the ride across tonight without studs was very tough!..one slight wrong move at 60mph and your done!.
So,as of now its looking like sunday will be the day for radar on mary lake..
Fri,sat will be for the last trail riding of the season probably for me..there is alot of snow in bush still, probably over 2 ft.
see ya all here sunday...directions are simple and we are right off hwy 11,easy to get to.
