Did my first ride on my new APEX ER today. Did not get many miles but enough to try out a few things.
It was 27 degrees here so the cold was not an issue and the handwarmers did what they should.
At this temperature I did not need hand guards but I will add them for colder days.
The engine is great as always. (had an RX-1 a few years ago and it felt the same)
The rear suspension is great at lower speeds (only had it up to 72) and the front felt a little soft so i will adjust them tonight.
I absolutely love the new riding position
Having spent my fair share on dirt and enduro bikes this new position feel rigth at home!
I will give it some more time but my initial feeling is that I will try other skies, or maybe start with real carbides first.
Glad I got the Apex, looking forward to riding between X-mas and New Year, just add snow

I usually run stock skis the Christmas week, in case the snow is not thick enough. You can hit rocks and stuff. Get some 6" or so Bergstrom tripple carbides for that week you will do OK.
