Your sled is not a stocker, by the look of the info on your profile. I'm actually looking for some a arms, a sub frame and possibly a gas shock for my 2012 xtx which is all stock. What are the chances? Perhaps if there's a fit here, we can make a transplant and your machine live on in spirit with me...

I am also interested in some of the parts. I’m in St. Cloud, so I could easily come pull them off if you end up parting it out.

Yeah it was tough to see my sled I put so much work into puking every fluid out of it. Well I have move on already. I bought a new left over 2016 Arctic Cat M8000. It was a deal I could not pass on. I rode it around the lake the other day and I think I'm really going to like this sled.Any sled death is sad but so many new opportunities now for you, great advancements in last ten years. That is why we take the collision on every sled, no collision and you'd have been screwed. That does follow you the rider to the next sled/insurance. I had my sled insurance increase along with my car insurance after my second accident last month, and neither accident was my fault (both times the other drivers insurance accepted full responsibility) So that should be be kept in your mind, accidents are liabilities to insurance regardless of blame.
My original 09 xtx when the tree fell on it they totalled it, I bought it back, fixed it, had a dealer inspect it, and they re-insured it, went up 60 a year and collision was off the table. I couldn't wait to sell that sled just to stop paying the insurance on it. Now I have a awesome 09 RTX, want less for it, and I can't find a rider to take it off my hands. Never makes sense.

Insurance is there to help you but when you need help they end up penalizing you anyways. It makes no sense. I think insurance companies need to look at the overall instead of just "O your sled it totaled." They don't care how it was totaled because in the end you will pay more regardless if it was your fault which is total BS if you ask me.

Here's an update on the sled. Insurance is giving my about $4300 for the sled. Buy back was $1500 so I passed on that and just taking the money ad moving on. Sorry for the guys that wanted parts off of it. Its just not worth my time to part it out and I have no place to store another sled for the summer.

WOW, what a bone job from the insurance company. My 09 XTX the tree landed on was 5600 value, 800 buy back. So I netted a 4800 (800 over what I paid for it) check and kept the sled. Threw maybe 350 at it (upper cowl, bars, steering stem, hand guards, different windshield I had, seat) Rode it for a season like I stole it, and sent it down the road for 4500.

Yeah thats after the $1500 in aftermarket parts I listed on it too which they told me I should get about 50% of what I paid back. It also took them two an half weeks to get a number for me. O well now I'll be sitting on a brand new sled for $5000 which is hard to beat.WOW, what a bone job from the insurance company. My 09 XTX the tree landed on was 5600 value, 800 buy back.
