MY SUSPENSION KEEPS BOTTEMING OUT I MOVED MY SETTING ON THE SHOCK TO 6 AND PUT RA ADJUSTER TO MAX AND STILL DOES. I'M 215 AND AGGRESIVE RIDER.I ALSO NOTICED THAT WERE THE FRONT LIMITER STRAPS ARE I CAN FEEL THE FRONT SKIDFRAME SNAP BACK. I MIGHT HAVE TO MUCH REBOUND BUT I HAD TO STIFFEN IT CUASE OF THE BOTTOMING OUT. MIGHT HAVE TO GET FAT BOY SPRING. I HAVE AN ATTAK. OTHER THAN THAT THE SLED ROCKS. WHOOPED UP ON MY BROTHERS RTX AND COUSINS 04 WARRIOR.BUT MY BRO HAD TO MUCH TRANSFER EVERY TIME HE HIT THE FLIPPER IT WOULD COME STRIAGHT UP.ANY INFO ON THE SUSPENSION WILL BE VERY HELPFUL.

Move the clip under the back of the spring to the next notch,#2 on the shock body and it works ,Im a big guy 238 with out gear and it worked for me I dont want it to be to stiff I dont mind some bottoming on the real big bumps, You have to use some type of spring compresser to do not to bad only, clips on the back side of the shockblack700 said:MY SUSPENSION KEEPS BOTTEMING OUT I MOVED MY SETTING ON THE SHOCK TO 6 AND PUT RA ADJUSTER TO MAX AND STILL DOES. Do you think you could use it while the skid is still in,the spring compressor, and if you get a chance to see someone do it,could you give details. ThanksRED800 said:i think u just have to get a spring compressor, gonna go see how my bro is doing on his attack

Ok. I bottomed badly as well. Remove the shock. Theres another recent thread on this about removing the shock. It's like a 15 min job. Take it to your dealer OR someone you know that has a compressor to constrict the shock. Move it to the second or third clip. I'm on third and a Doo guy today said mine was too stiff. For me it was perfect cause I'd only really bottom when I cranked something really moving. It's amazing how fast you can go through the junk when its set up right.
I'm 240-250 with gear. As Wes says from J&J, (and I agree with him) you want it to bottom occassionally. Not gonna really hurt the sled but that way you know you're getting full use of your suspension. I hit some nasty stuff today on the North South road next to the resovoir and it took it like a champ. Myself and the Rev 440 could take it at speed. It slammed some when I cased a couple big ones but only really bottomed twice in the whole stretch. Anyone who rides Tug regularly knows that stretch and today was one of it's doosies.
After some adjustment (still going to play more with it) I've come to love this sled. It's got spades of power and like a Cat riding buddy of mine said it rides like it's on air.

yamanator, mine bottoms out way to easily i have to do something with it. i did'nt know for sure if u had to take the shock out or not. i will have to take the shock out and get it moved to the 2 or 3 clip.

From the factory it comes on clip 1. This is really only good for a person up to about 210 lb's and thats at your max setting and you have no room to adjust. They should ship it at least on clip 2 and let you set it up like you want. Like I said I'm 240-250 with gear and clip 3 worked out pretty good today. Shock is easy to remove.
thanks, i'll have to take it out tommorrow i also hope this eliminates the rebound i feel on the front skid when i go over stutter bumps i feel the kick back but i feel it at the front of the skid frame. other than that the sled is awsome got 415 miles so and its gonna get better
