need location on where to mount temp probe on apex

When you talk about the probe, I'm assuming you have a T-splice that it goes into. I took off my thermostat housing cover so that I could shift it towards the outside of the sled so that you can cut the hose and slip the T-splice in between the thermostat housing and the steel pipe that goes into the top of the engine. My digital guage and t-splice came from Ulmer Racing. If memory serves me right, there are pictures of that installation on this site somewhere. If I find it, I'll get back to you.

I have put them in between the thermostat housing and coolant pipe going into the head. I have also seen them put in below the thermostat housing (by chaincase/oil tank area).

I tied mine into the stock sender location for the oil pres. and cut a tee into one of the water hoses!

I'm finally hooking up water temp tonite. Got my PC111with timig mod on and repacked new sno stuff rumble pack and mounted my air/fuel ratio gauge. will have pic's tonite if it's not to late. LOL
