Nest in exhaust?

I bet you felt good about it too! I know I have no mercy on the buggers. Actually need to setup the 5 gallon bucket trap. Is satisfying seeing them drown! You guys got big ones in Canada! Might be able to eat something that big!
Yeah... they taste like chicken.

I was storing some Duck & Deer mounts in an unused truck in driveway while painting my ManCave.
They did about $700 of damage.
It TRIED to run away, but they call me "Sharpshootin' Steve"

The best part was watching my Hunting dog looking for the downed animal so she could retrieve it.
She came back & gave me that disappointed look like i missed it.
She didn't understand the physics of a 1oz. animal being blown away by 3oz. of lead at 1200 fpm!

On a more serious note, i have some experience here.
Mice love to gnaw on wires & that are usually under neath the motor or deep hard to get at spots.
Cost me & friends 1000's of $ and many intermittent grounding issues over the years.

Moth Balls can help, but be careful. Put them in a little pan or tin foil because they react with some materials & start to corrode or eat thru them like plastics or Aluminum.
Cover holes with aluminum foil or steel wool.
THEY DON'T LIKE EATING THRU METAL!
Dryer sheets are ok at best. Some are weak & they lose their "power" after awhile. I've seen mice make a nice interior to their home with Dryer Sheets.

Put some traps with NO food on running boards &/or around machine butted up against something.
If you trap one then start paying attention cuz there will be more!

P.S: Don't use those sticky pads unless you want to be woken up to a WHOLE family of mice stuck & SCREAMING in the middle of the night
P.S2: Moth Balls make me sad cuz they remind me of Grandma's house. I miss those big flappy grammy arms
