Again do you watch the same show? They've been amping the mountain stuff for like 3 years now riding with all kinds of sponsored mountain riders.

This is awesome. Didn't Knapp like get banned from TY a few years ago because he was a huge promoter of the 1200? Now he's seeing things without blinders like me. March 1st is going to be awesome.

Are SPONSORED mountain riders going to say anything bad about the sled they ride?
 
I like the show. I take it with a grain of salt. But it's very informative I like supporting the show and magazine. They are great promoters of the sport and they are Canadian. If they can't say anything bad because they are sponsored at least they are sponsored by all brands and they can "not say anything bad" about all of them.

I don't think snowtrax is dedicated to anything but it's entertaining, informative and they always do pros and cons. I don't think they are so tainted by sponsors. They say bad things about each sled even the best sleds get critiqued. To each their own. Works for me.

I like the show too, but they never really say anything bad other than, sleds cold (no #*$&@ there's no windshield)

worst I've heard is this year- they don't like the viper skis on the LTX
 
F the mountains, all sleds will be replaced by snow bikes in the mountains they are a far better option. Less weight, way better handling, more and more people are going to the snow bikes they are better than a sled period.
Plus what do these mountain guys do for the sport, do they purchase some sort of season pass to ride the mountain like us trail guys do, I don't think so they ride for free. F the 2s Bombbarfdier and F that Knapp guy now he's a Yamaha fan again. That guy talks out of both sides of his mouth and deserves to be riding a lemonade stand.

They talk about how the skidoo darts a lot and how the 4tec has a lot of throttle lag because it only has one throttle body and a long intake. They complain about how Polaris axys bittoms toobeasy and not as good as r motion. They love the 1049 Yamaha motor and the clutch but say that Yamaha should make a roller secondary.

I think the snow bikes are cool but a fad that will pass , I don't think they are better than sled for the mountains ,
