You type this because you can, not because you know....and that's all.

If that's what you think. I do know though, more than I can say. So quit being a tool. I am not a trouble maker on here.

I am not being a tool or a troublemaker.....just stating the obvious and being a realist.
Apex motor in the Viper chassis would be nice...or a lighter variant of it...regardless...160ish HP N/A in a pro cross chassis

I am not going to argue, you can think what you want. There was all this talk going off on 2 strokes and what have you. Also all these guys wanting to jump ship like you hear every year. I didn't know squat either until just recently and was told to say nothing. The only thing I have revealed is new chassis, very fast. That's it....I do know more but that's as much as I can say. There is something coming but it's still up to Yamaha to actually release it into production. They could always change their mind if too much inventory still exists. I am not buying new anyways so it really doesn't make much difference to me one way or another. This time of year is always like this but my info source is always spot on.

Looks like Cat will be adding something new besides the sno-bike. Possible expansion with Yamaha engines? This is from the Powersports Business site.

"SVX" sounds a lot like Yamaha to me.Looks like Cat will be adding something new besides the sno-bike. Possible expansion with Yamaha engines? This is from the Powersports Business site.

Largest manufacture in the industry doesn't have a single 4stroke, Yamaha is last and has only 4strokes. The fact Polaris outsells Yamaha probably 4 or 5 to 1. As a business man that would be my incentive
Ya Poo had fourstrokes they sucked and the turbo version was a pile of crap. Polaris may out sell but maybe its cause the sleds don't last. And I'll add the Yamaha sleds last forever so sales have to be less. Maybe letting Cat build sleds for them will help!

If Yamaha throw the cat 800 in a Yamaha chassis and make a new vmax and mountainmax everyone wins

Again, from manufactures end. If my customers are demanding and wanting a 2stoke, and the 2 strokes for whatever reason are outselling 4strokes 5-1 while giving higher profit margins and easier to produce. Why not. I personally wouldn't care of my stuff lasted 10 years if no one was buying them. I would want to produce what was desired. Yes I love my nytro. But a 2stroke option say for a phazer or smaller and for the 800 crowd and leave the 4 stokes in their slots as apex and viper. Bet you would be amazed at the upswing in sales in the proper chassisYa Poo had fourstrokes they sucked and the turbo version was a pile of crap. Arctic Cat 9000 Turbo engine is gone.... MPI had MAJOR increase in orders for turbo kit so.... Yamaha engines to be in way more Cats. Phazer gone. Yamaha makes too much $$$$$$ off other 3 manufacturers to produce 2 strokes. Yamaha sells emission points to other 3 and that is pure major profit.

My dealer told me Yamaha makes more off selling scooters to India then they do off all thier snowmobile sells in North AmericaAgain, from manufactures end.
