Yeah s
yeah same way I feel about 1200 needs more ponies & 150 would doo. Until then forget it.I think this a great machine also. I like ALOT about it. Adjustable carbides, rear bag & gas locking system, choice of track, good suspension & seat. I just need some MORE HP! 150 will do. If Yamaha fails me, then this sled with pipe & tune may be where my $$$$$ goes next...
1200 is the same as last year which is fine. I personally think the 1200 x package is one of the best sleds available. Its what I would buy if I picked up a new machine.
Do we even know if the 1200 is the same? The 850 video leaked out but nothing else has been confirmed yet as far as models and engines

Lets some of you down. I didn't come back to Yamaha until the viper after my RXWarrior was such a POS! I think it's about time to get used to the fact that things are going to be this way for the long haul.Just looking at replacements when yamaha lets us down again.

Haha ya ok. I know you are wrong because ive seen them all weighed.. and even if I didnt, you can feel a huge difference when you ride them. Thats what matters the most. You do realize the wet ready to ride weight is NOT EVEN CLOSE to 100lbs difference, right?!?!?! Its more like 35-40lbs dif Viper vs Doo in very similar models.

I'd like to hear some more Viper love stories. LOLLets some of you down. I didn't come back to Yamaha until the viper after my RXWarrior was such a POS! I think it's about time to get used to the fact that things are going to be this way for the long haul.
On a different note, it's been a week since we got a post from CR - I would think we'd see something soon. Get some more indirect clues to spin the web a little more. I think we might make 100 pages before release!

look, the weight matters for some and for some it doesn't, let's get beyond that point. We all get it.

I would say you hit the nail on the head!! best guess a new 110 hp twin Phazer 2 in a redesigned artic/Yamaha body, that is the new engine your hearing in that teaser video this is the hole that needed to be filled in the Yamaha line, they already have the upper engine horse power in different platforms and possibly a new flagship redesigned apex in the same new body style, I can't see Yamaha going back to a 2 stroke but maybe between cat and Yamaha a redesigned 800 ctec, see what happensProbably a new Phaser class sled.

There were bigger POS in 04/05 than the RXWarrior. Things don't stay the same forever.

Really what kinda miles and hp?and who's kits on cats or doos or what .pump gas ?I have 2 vipers one turbo and one n/a. And i enjoy them. But i would never buy them again. Ive seen too much success with two stroke turbos lately to be bothered with another heavy Yamacat.

Ok my bad. But I think we're trying to say that some of us are looking what suits us best & if Yamaha doesn't come thru we WILL jump. I LOVE my '07 GT, but @ 10 years old & 20,000 miles, I'm due for new. Yamaha has spoiled me with 4-strokes, longevity & 150ish hp. I was hoping to ride a Viper this year, but I've put more miles on my bike this winter. Needless to say, when I mention other makes, I hope Yamaha gets the hint. BTW Turbo Viper, 1200 Doo & possibly newest Apex top my list. I've heard nothing but bad things about Stupidshot suspension though & that bothers me...Did I stumble into Dootalk?
