Just going over the new left over 09 Nytro I picked up in March and noticed that all the ball joints are bone dry! Shouldn't they have grease on them? I think I read somewhere that guys are greasing them every time out? Were the 09's hard on ball joints or just the 08's?

Yes always keep them lubricated. IMHO. Top and bottom.
2009s are much better than 2008.
Yamaha changed the ball joints 3 times, 2010 and 2011 are the same style and P/N.
I've placed an order with Yamaha to try 2010/11 style units to try year.
