Medium tunnel bag installed. Super easy, was a 5 minute job. Center shock spring and skis also installed! Love the way it turned out![/QUOTE I would say the large is not going to fit on 129 after looking at the pic. I have a 137 and the large bag installed measures 21-1/2" from the very back of the fuel tank (where it sits on the tunnel) down the center of the tunnel to the back of the bag. Hope this helps guys out....

IMO I decided with the Medium over the large. Can fit plenty of gear inside that bag. Currently have a belt, jumper cables, tool kit, and tow rope. Still have room for a set of tennis and a weekends worth of clothes. Perfect for my storage needs.

Yes, can't complain. The large would've filled entire tunnel and I don't wanna look like Grandpa on the trailVery good! And yes I like the bag. fits well and looks part of the sled.

How does the bag secure to the tunnel? If I switch to this bag from the one that came with my sled I really don’t want to have to drill extra holes in the tunnel because it mounts differently

You do have to drill 2 new holes, same size as the ones that hold the belt bag. I bought plastic automotive plugs to plug the old holes. Super easy. I wasn’t thrilled to drill into my brand new sled but the bag is awesomeHow does the bag secure to the tunnel? It's funny how a Bag and a Windshield can completely transform the look of a sled. Mine definitely looks like its in Grandpa mode with the tunnel bag and medium windshield on, And Boy Racer with the chopped stock windshield and no bag. That's a nice looking bag, I have the second version of the large soft side expandable bag and it easily fits an overnighters worth of stuff.

Yep, I have just enough wind coverage to keep warm and enough storage that I don't need to carry a backpack. Between the tunnel bag and windshield bag I'm set.

Just ordered the XL bag for the Viper. I will see how it like it there, and probably get one for the Winder too. Ill post pics once I get it installed unless someone beats me to it with the XL.

You'll have a super easy install. Doesn't take more than a few minutes if you know how to use a drill and a screwdriver.Just ordered the XL bag for the Viper. My buddy has the large one (cat version) on his 18 Thundercat 137, they are super nice bags. Glad to see Yamaha finally offer a better tunnel bag to there customers. I'm looking at a large bag for the RTX viper and a medium for LTX sidewinder, already have the Linq bag on the winder. Just looking to replace the stock fabric bag on the winder for belt and tools and misc stuff.
