i just picked up an 07 phazer FX. super clean, great price and my first sled! i got a long wait until winter befor the first ride but that also give me plenty of time for the recall/update work. i did a lot of research and everyone seems to like these sled. just wanted to know of any things i should do that helped out performance wise. i know skis are the biggest thing and some people say tracks depending on your riding condtions. anyway thanks!

Make sure the starter bolts are tight.

thanks guys, all ready planed on the tunnel kit. and the sled has less then 500 miles on it but ill keep the 1.5" in mind

@prozac: ill get some pics up once i get her back from the dealership. i dropped it off for the recall stuff

I purchased the same sled this year and I can say I love it! I had it all updated with the tunnel block and added a fan. The only other thing I did was to upgrade the shocks to Ohlins mainly because I got a screaming deal from one of this sites sponsors, Brian Jowett. The thing I really love about this sled is that it is flickable. By moving your weight around, the sled really performs. It is not a top end machine, but neither am I. If you understand what it was designed for, and ride it that way, you will love it. I love racing my kids around the yard when we are on the Sno-Scoots. It is like a Sno-Scoot on steroids.

What did you guys pay for yours? (If you don't mind me asking) I think i'm going to sell my 07 FX and don't really know what it's worth.

another to the phazer crew, congrats. shock setup could help some too. can help with the push or bite in the corners.
as said, skiis & track. good skii's will help float in the powder rather than dive with the stockers. i've read tracks are big help too. i'll find out this year with mine. riden one witha 1.5, big diff.
