Is that western Power sports?STAIN.....Hopefully you should see yours soon. I picked up a new SW last week from Port Yamaha and they had my new Storm 150 ready to go. They had ordered it from a distributor, WPS and had received it the previous week.

My Dealer is having a hard time to find a Storm 150. Does anyone have a suggestion where to get one?

I ordered 2 137” storm 150’s from TracksUSA about a month ago and they were on my doorstep in less than a week.

Just talked to a Camso Rep at Novi snowmobile show and next Storm production run is Nov 11. That is when my dealer was told the next shipment is expected. I also bought 250 screw in IGrip studs for it, so it had better come in.

I've got the new Storm 150 track installed in my wife's new '18 LT-X LE and thought that I'd post up a few pics and my thoughts on this track....
The cupped shaped lugs in the center band of the track should provide great forward thrust along with good off trail performance. I really like the lug design where the tallest 1.5" lugs extend over the rails for additional traction on hard packed trails.
The shorter 1.25 lugs on the outer belts of the track are supposed to allow some sliding of the rear of the sled for less steering effort while cornering and still providing excellent cornering traction. I'm impressed with how beefy the support bars are that run the full width of the track. The lugs have a great support base and are pretty stout to handle the power of the 'Winder's. I even made sure that the track was installed facing the correct rotation of the track!
Fully clipped and decent sized windows for cooling of the track. Since we always ride in decent snow conditions and don't stud the track I'm convinced that this track should be a perfect match for the trails that we ride along with excellent durability for the power output of the SW.
I really like the blue on the '18 LT-X and MT-X LE models. This pic is with the stock track before the new Storm 150 was installed.

Good eye Russ. There should be plenty of room for snow to make it through those windows for hyfax and track cooling.

Looks to me like they designed these lugs with the thought of making an ice version of this track that is pre-studded....anyone heard anything about this? Looks like an awesome track though.

The Camso Rep said they are hoping to have an ice version out next year.

beat me to it yamatario....I was about to post you could bet your assets there will be a pre studded one next year just by looking at those round areas....the lugs are very rigid...should be a nice track just wondering how much the top end losses will be for those who care..
