New track offering, 1.3 Arrowhead

I just put 75mi on my new ice arrowhead, so far so good. Really have to adjust my riding style, can't really back it into a corner and can't throttle out of an apex till past middle. Stopping and accelerating are much much better than the stock Rip2 no studs. Hope it holds up, the performance is great. Quiet and smooth just like the oem on hard pack too. It's a winner and worth the price in my book.

How in F did that happen in 1000 miles?
I know Kevin at Port Yamaha steered me away from buying a Cobra several years back because of all the failures they were seeing. He suggested the RS2 which was relatively new at the time. I wasn't disappointed

This new track looks beefy, wonder if it will slide or bite and roll in a fast corner?

Ice arrowhead is beefy, beefier than the oem RIP2. I had to step up my transfer adjuster, soften the torsion spring a notch(I did lose 15% of my weight in the off season) and took a turn and a half out of the center. Much harder to get it to pivot around a corner, but it will. The braking traction increased so much that I noticed it took more squeeze to get the track to lock.
I was up early this past Tuesday in oldforge, they groomed overnight and it set up superhard for me. I had a great session setting up for this season, not only does my Tcat have a new track, I put on new oem skiis with new triple points, ski savers and shimmed new ski pads. The Shocks had been freshened up too.
Almost 200mi on the new track and it's everything that has been promoted, I also feel it will hold up. The only reason why I change my oem track with 8100mi on it was because it was looking weathered from spinning, no tears no missing lugs. So if the new track slips less I'm feeling it will last longer for me and the way I ride.

I suppose I should take the Ice Arrowhead track off my 18 LTX LE 50th anniversary and swap it with the 25 LTX LE Final Edition, the 18 will be the backup sled for me, my brother (25 LTX LE Final Edition) and nephew (24 LTX LE). What a back up sled it is, tuned (Cluster Flash), OEM EPS, Ice Arrowhead track....still scratching my head on why I bought a 25, lol. I have around 2,500 miles on the Ice Arrowhead from last year, it performed just flawless. Beefy track for sure, the only unknown is longevity that only time and miles will tell the whole story.

I noticed you have your 2018 listed as having EPS. Did you have the aftermarket EPS added? If so, how does it compare to the factory EPS on your 2025?

Its factory EPS.

Just put this on my 19 winder. Last track lasted 900 miles and had pull outs and ripped the track with 144 woodys studs so i had to replace it. Tuned with TD 270.

I'm willing to venture when he stated it was factory, he meant it was OEM power steering and not an 'aftermarket' one like say the one from GSE Performance.

Yes, I just wasn't aware there was an option to do that. I knew about the GSE kit and thought that's what he had.

So you retrofitted eps on to your 2018? EPS wasn't a factory option till 2022.
There's an entire thread that started in 2023 I posted above ^ on doing this conversion to older procross sleds. I'm just one of hundreds that added OEM/Factory EPS to a pre 23 sled. Read that thread above ^.

Ran the Ice Arrow head on the 2025 SRX last year for 2000km. Very good track. It put a lot of power on the ground. My stock SRX was feeling faster than a MS16 with a Cobra 1.3.
Look like a fun and reliable track.

I just ordered an Ice Arrowhead track for my 18 Sidewinder 137. I also ordered a set of protectors for the rear heat exchanger. Are any other tunnel protectors required? Thanks
