New track offering, 1.3 Arrowhead

You should not need protectors for that track.

The exchanger guards is all you'll need

Has anyone put real studs in one of these Ice arrow tracks?

Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of buying this track in the first place?
Are you saying that because the angled lugs or it being a pre-studded track? Reason being is always ask myself the same when I see others studding pre-studded tracks.

I was asking because he mentioned studding the Ice Arrowhead. We paid extra money for all the studs that come in it. If someone wanted to run traditional studs, a 1.35 Cobra or Storm would be a less expensive starting point.

My Ice Arrowhead hooks up better on ice than my wife’s 137 1.35 Cobra with two studs per bar. I don’t feel the need to stud it. Maybe if I were running 300HP?

you couldn't give Me a cobra track, and I don't want a 1.50 track.

The problem is the lack of options for a 146. I noticed that when researching tracks for mine.
There isn’t an rip2 or similar in that length Everything is 1.50 and above, or prestudded.
I feel your frustration.

I've got over a thousand miles on the new Ice Arrowhead 130 and I could not be happier. We had a bit of a thaw yesterday and it got cold last night. The glare ice performance on trail is absolutely stupendous. This track exceeds all my expectations in every condition. Worth the steep price tag.

I spoke to a couple guys with 300hp winders who went to this track and swear by it for trail riding. I installed one and will give my 2 cents after putting some miles on it.

I recently cut down a 1.6 inch 2 ply 146” cobra to 1.3 inches and 204 studs. It hooks up and rips! Recommend

@ 1300 miles on this 1.6 Cobra so far, 2-4 stud pattern. Lugs are bending a bit but so far so good. I will say, this thing hooks up hard. One thing i wasn't expecting was how hard it stops too. If you hammer the brakes it is like throwing out an anchor.

2,300 miles on my Ice Arrow. On groomed trails, it is excellent.

On fresh snow and warm snow, it is not as good as the 1.6 Cobra.

My 900R is also 3 mph slower with the Ice Arrow compared to the 1.6” Ice Cobra.
