Welcome to the Yamacat forums. I came from a bunch of 1200's and I had an Apex and Nytro before them. Lots of complaining on here for sure but to be honest my Winder has been a great sled with very few issues. I find every forum has complaints no matter what the manufacturer or model. When I had my Apex there were issues, my 1200's had plenty also and the Nytro has to be the worst sled I ever owned. The more power you have the more issues that will be reported and the Winder has the most powerful engines in the industry. Don't panic when reading all the stuff here because most of it is minor and some of the big issues are self inflicted.

Off topic, but I picked up an 05 low miles manual trans. neon, and the dealer said it was an srt turbo. Finally drove to see it as nothing decent local, and it said srt design and had the tall wing and scoop. I told him it's just an sxt with the aero srt package, no turbo (I didn't want one...just another neon to drive to work), and he didn't believe me. So I opened the hood and asked him where's the turbo? Then we went for a drive, and I floored it in 2nd gear, and I looked over and said if it had a turbo, we'd actually be moving (dirty look). It's a turd with a manual, but that's all I wanted was a commuter turd with decent mileage. Bought it but from another salesman that kind of apologized for him But it was a Ford dealer. My friend did that on his blue one, doesn't like advertising it but we all know anyways!!![]()

We have been waiting a long time for that Dan. I would buy one as long as it's not some crazy price. Doo seems to be very happy releasing new 2 strokes so I don't think I will hold my breath.
Got 40mi on tonight after work, after 20" of fresh powder yesterday.
Not so thrilled with the high W/S in the powder, the steam from hood makes vision not so good.......lol
But it was 0deg tonight, riding with a buddy who has '17ltx winder and short W/S, he was cold.
Intercooler completely packed with snow, both sides, but temps were good.
Impressed with the general performance of this beast picking thru the tight twisties and breaking trail.
