Welcome to the factory boost club POWERHAULIC.

I was in the same boat for many years.....patiently waiting for Yamaha to come out with a factory boosted sled.

2017 came along and BANG! Finally, after riding our Apex's since 2006.

I picked up a SW last year and this year my wife has her's.

That LT-X DX is a sweet sled. ;)!

Didn't happen unless there's pics....lol. Congrats. I'm on my second factory turbo waiting for BRP to doo something...

Have had RX1 turbos and An Apex, before that on Mach Z's and a turbo 670, not my first boosted ride :beer:

My situation exactly. Held on to the '06 Apex patiently (even frustrated at times) and then boom! Here it is, the '17 Sidewinder. Turbo in a proven chassis. Never had a doubt I was getting one.

Bought same sled in black also sled rips love it might have to sell my doo

I'll get some pics before and after the heat gun comes out......lol
Will be nice to have two sleds to compare as my cuz bought a '17 LTX SE with 900mi yesterday too. :)

Welcome back! I too was doo since they stopped making Skiroules. Went 4 stroke in 2002 and stuck with Yamaha. 06 Apex was the best all around sled (for me) I ever had...and still have it. But after years of dissing Cats, except for their race performances, figured this marriage of Far East meets Middle America just might work! LOL!
 
I lurked here last year watching what was happening, gave it a year. Sold my '09 1200 and traded my '16 on this.
The Black on Black hooked me, love how sinister it is, combined with the old man soft shock tuning should be great for me........lol

You're going to love it!! Best color Sidewinder they've come out yet IMO. Wish they had that color last year!!
