Noisy Sidewinder Clutch

Does anyone know the size of the roller bolts?
I might look for washers today

just to clarify.. there are two issues...the bolts excess slack for the rollers and the weights surface to the rollers gap...washers or o rings solve the first...I think theres a performance gain by solving the second...some OSP bench tools and a spider shim is in order for me..

Do you think these will work as washers for the roller bolts?
Nylon washers

You guys know clutch is on a stub shaft not crank right? Do some research this has all been covered before. When all is done it will still make noise at coupler where a Gear Reduction belongs!

I agree
but the roller bolts alone might drive me nuts...lol

Yes, I have lived with the loud clutch, and it performs well-much worse on one then the others. The stub shaft seems to be the source as those who 'locked it down' with special forms of Loctite stated it ALL went away on the Vectors. While those who used nylon or silicone washers saw only slight improvement and short lived if I recall correctly.
Lots of posts about 1-2 year ago.

Just think if there was a gear reduction. Motor could run at 12000 rpm easy like Apex or Phazer and clutches right around 8500rpm. Thats how it should be.
