Note on tank bags for RX/RS sleds

In the past people have complained about the tank bags scuffing up the finish on the painted tanks on the RX/RS sleds - to address this the latest production run on the bags has a new softer material on the inside against the painted tank. Another change is that the bags no longer rivet onto the side of the tunnel but use a large piece of velcro to hold them into place on the sides of the tunnel (the new apex tank bags use the velcro on the sides and also have the softer material on the tank area).

I want to order a couple of these how would I know if I was ordering the new model or the old model?
Is there a different part number for each one?

The part numbers are the same it was just a running production change. There is really no way of telling other than pulling them out of the bag and checking. I would believe that all new stock a dealer has gotten in this fall would be of the new style but if they have stuff left from last season it would be the old style. We currently have plenty of the new style in stock if you want to guarantee your getting the new style (as we don't have any of the old style left) order them off our website at the following link or give me a call.
