Nytro engine in viper now temp light on all times

Buddy of mine got 16 viper turbo blue it up so he put a nytro engine in it now he tells me that the temp only goes up to room temp 11-13 degrees on the gauge temp light stays on no matter how long it’s running for
Any ideas out there thanks

yes. unless you can confirm both are the same part # from yamaha.

The temp sensor is located in the thermostat housing, so he would've had to use the Viper thermostat housing. Are you sure the coolant system is bled properly? Are the sensor wires connected correctly?
