obr's garage

You got to LOVE posten (Norwegian USPS) - LOL I hope you get the drop brackets tomorrow!

Sorry buddy, but that heat exchanger setup is sold to a friend of mine. You already have the heat exchanger - just contact your Yamaha dealer ship. They should have dozens of rear crossover tubes lying around after installing a heat exchanger instead.

hehe, NP

I can't get a pic of the extention at the moment, not before I get it home. They want to get it out of the shop before the 2010 models arrive, so I just need those brackets to finish it for pickup.... :o|

Today they arrived in Alta (my home town) but at the WRONG post office, so it got sent God-knows-where now, hopefully to the right post office and not back to Tromsø....

Do you really think the Post Office understands how to get it your way... don't think so, they will return it and have Tromsø make the same mistake over again.... :-(

they finally arrived yesterday, 10 days after TT shipped them to me. He lives 4-5 hours of driving from me, but the post service was able to use TEN days to ship it...

Well, hopefully I'll have the sled out of the shop and in my garage tonight...can't wait to get the baby home

What I just said :-(

Yeah, it's great to have such a post service...

Now, I might have a fitment problem with the 16" track, tunnel extention and the drop brackets, but hopefully I'll get it right...

Well, it's finally in. Sorry for the bad pic, but my buddy took it with his phone....

It's tight, but I don't think the track will last long anyway. I think I'll be going with a 162" by 15" this winter when this track fails...

Looks pretty good from here on the cell phone pix... may need some oft billet wheels ;)!

Thanks, hopefully I can get it done tonight and get her home, and ready for paint :)

Now, I just need some boost...And scratchers...

Billett wheels is a good idea...I wonder how 11" wheels would look back there....

Great sled buddy, and a lot better when you're done with it.

Thanks, hopefully it will be a fun boondocker. Installed the ECP filters ad the stock battery back in today. Any of you Norwegians knows anywhere around here to get one of those lightweight ones that fits in the nose cone?

Just need to grind a little more of off the nut to the chain case to get the 16" track to fit... And, she's ready to come home.

Go with a R1 MC battery, YTZ10S, you can get it from TK Motor the Yamaha dealer near you :)

It's less than half the weight and is a gel type battery.

Thanks, I just found out today they had those batterys, but I think I'm goig to Barretiservice here in Alta and get another type, they told me they had some small ones that was perfect for my application...

I'm thinking of selling the Apex (again) gettin boost on the RX, and...go a different route for my next sled...
