Off to Maine for season

I'll be up Friday afternoon right near the General Store.
When will you be at the Ox?

If you see a TotallYamaha sticker on a trailer or a truck or a hat or a helmet or a shirt or a hoodie, it's probably me...

Or the guy riding like his hair's on fire! lol. Looks like we have some nice snowfall coming Steve. I'll be up in that neck of the woods next week

the blue ox will be the "scene of the crime" Sunday or Monday. This is a trip that me and a couple of buddies have taken for the last 35 years, always a great time.

I’ll be up the following Friday for the weekend staying almost across the street from you. Glad the snow is coming. Your hitting it right.

Did that trail to Greenville from Kodadjo get reopened? We had to run lake to get to Greenville couple weeks ago.

There is a reroute but it has been worse than shitty so we have only been running the lake. Best way is Spencer Bay to 66. If you take Lily Bay you still have to hit part of ungroomed 85N. They did not de-stump the re-route so it needs a lot of snow plus they didn't finish it unit mid-Jan so no base. My buddies who are there will run it in the next day or so after this snow to check it. I assume the club will post on FB when they groom it. That club sucks for communication.

Beware the pressure ridges on the lake. Definitely one in Spencer Bay and one from about Burnt Jacket point (going by memory).

The trail going into Greenville almost always SUCKS!
I stay away from there.
We call it Brownsville, which is ironic because the next town down is actually Brownsville which ironically is actually BROWN!

I will be up at the NOCK last whole week of February.
PM me whomever will be up there.
I'm looking for some new BRAVE people to go around Maine with back-packs.
NO plans.............just ride. At dark get a hotel. Sun comes up..............ride. REPEAT, REPEAT, REPEAT

Ha ha Steve. After a couple trips down that way and you telling me never go there I get it. I’m up again 2/14 if you need a place to crash. Thanks for that assist last time I went to Brownsville....

Scott, let's take those POO friends of yours & ride out to the County.
We can ride the Gash & sleep in Fort Kent then ride home next day.
Just follow & smile. That's my CREEDO! FOLLOW & SMILE

we'll be up in Millinocket this weekend, staying at the NEOC, unfortunately I'll be with a bunch of Ski-Poo guys...

Rode out of the Forks this past Tuesday. Put in by Berry’s store and rode to Jackman and many spots in between.
Freshly groomed from Berry’s to Parlin Pond and we were the first to lay down tracks but found many floating rocks in that trail. Once at Parlin Pond we took 89a and then other trails off of that which led us to Pittston Farm trail. Those trails were really nice and fun, but not much for straightaways until the later trail mentioned.

But anyways, we met some guys during lunch who were staying at a rented home at Brownville Junction, and told us about the trails in various location from their rented home. My first thought were WTF man, a week riding out of Brownville Juntion. We rode in that region many years ago and their trail system was small at best back then.

These guys started telling us about their destinations during the week and had found really nice trails in the Millinocket/ JoMary etc. area. But on that day they were really excited about the trail to Pittston Farms from Brownsville. They talked about long straightaways 28’ wide for many miles long on the Seboomic portion of the trail which led to Pittston Farms. They had never seen anything like that I was told. They were all smiles and so were we, just thinking about all the times that exact sentiment happened to us while on those big trails of the county.
Just making memories and enjoying life on a sled!
