1400 miles on my new belt no problems. Switched to 14.5 rollers this year, seemed to help as it grabs the belt harder at take off creating less heat. Had some problems on my Attak last year but that was because of high mileage (11,300) and the clutch faces were dished. Also the 14.5 rollers lower the engagement slightly

only yamaha belts and over 1000miles on first belt fine changed it this year, my dad has over 1600 on the apex fine, same as my buddys nytro original belt and fine clutches must not be aligned something is wrong get it checked out

yami belt - had about 3200 hard miles on it on my 08' RTX and changed the belt b/c of performance.
i got almost 4000 miles on the first belt of my 06' nytro also, then started blowing belts because my clutch was F#$%ed up. Speaking for myself - i've always had good luck with yami belts.

On my 08 right now is the original belt, around 3200 miles. I am going to change it soon as I don't want it too blow and have to deal with the mess it makes, and possible damage......
