0° fingers & 78° belt

Shootout sounds kinda' violent & insinuates that i'll be blowing belts.
So i'm going to re-name this next weekends' experiment.

How about:
1. 2019 Belt Off
2. Tri-Flex Debate
3. The White Sock Affair
4. One Crazy Man with a FLUKE
5. Three Belts and a Gun
6. March Madness........in January

im now at 800 plus miles on a new timken 825 belt , this belt has gone threw over 42 data logging 300 hp tune from 3-5 min pulls of wot to crusing speeds back to wot , im very impressed with this belt , zero belt dust , multiply clutches changes , now mind u the true test is breaking trail threw a foot of heavy snow will show the true strength of any belt which I have not done yet , my testing was done on a groomed trail and lakes , I would like to see which belt is faster on top end , 8jp or the 825 ,

Violence is needed occasionally to release stress, as long as it’s not directed towards any certain individuals Like Bob.

Agree.....So far I have only run very easy going FIRM trails and lakes. We have not had much snow depth here yet at all, lots of solid hard conditions since we seem to get freezing rain after any snowfalls to make the surface solid.

I believe the real test(when I blew belt last season)is when snow is deeper, and the sled grips then slips across a lake where you are in powder, then crossing tracks which it grips better, on/off like this is where the secondary cannot keep up. I think this is where the bigger back pressure in secondary is needed to keep more constant grip on belt.

Old XS 825 on the left, new one on the right.
The old belt is 1/32” wider than the new one.
I haven’t ran the newer belt yet, but I will post any difference/issues is see. I never reach full shift on my clutches so it won’t matter much for me, but top end will probably suffer a couple mph with the thinner belt.

Maybe that 1/32" is real confirmation that it's now a different belt (other than the labels). I have an old one too as well as two new ones but didn't think to even check. We'll see this weekend how the new ones do for me.
