Oil Filter Relocation Kits 2006 to 2011 Apex coming soon!

I have one on an Attak (don't know if it is yours or not), but will the Yamacharger work with it? It seems that something gets relocated to the same place. Do they both fit in the nose?

The guys at G-Force (maker of the Yamacharger) are relocating the oil tank to that area currently, but I believe they will be changing the location of the oil tank this fall and it will fit just fine with the newer oil tank placement.

Allen Yamaha took your filter location on the 2011. Bastards I tell ya.....

They took my original location, but I made it fit again on the 2011 in close to the same location!

allen, would these work on an 05 rx1? i had your kit on my attak and sold it. now i have an rx1 and would love a kit for it

Yes it will work ont he 2004 to 2005 RX-1 as well. It can work on the 2003 RX-1 as well, but if someone orders one for a 2003 RX-1 please let me know as it requires slightly more machining for the part that spins onto the engine.

Hey Allen, will this filter location interfere with the nose bag that fits in that space? I know it seems trivial but I need my bag when I tour.

The nose bag will fit just fine with this kit on the 2006 to 2010 Apex models.

Please make one for the phazer , People who changed the filter before on the phazer knows how long it takes , a oil filter relocation kit for the phazer would sell like crazy.

I looked at a Phazer and the area where the oil filter is located stock is just so dang tight that this current kit would not fit. I'm not sure at this time if we'll research a Phazer kit currently.

2011 Oil Filter location
There will be a bracket for the 2011's to relocate the voltage regulator, but all other hardware will be the same!

cout me in for one ASAP, I have everything opened up and ready to put back together from replacing a lower A arm. I would really like to add the relocation kit before I re-assemble everything!

It will still allow me to use my nose bag, wont it?

Ill be at Stanton and Novi this year, if you attend those I think you could move quite a few!

It is easier to sell/ trade the sled each year than add the relocation kit !

What makes it difficult? I didn't see anything negative when the relocation kit was previously offered.

Bump

Any confirmation if any of these kits will be making their way to either Novi, MI or Stanton, MI?

Ill be at both, and would love to pick one up at Stanton preferably. It would be nice to have it in 2 weeks instead of 4.

Or if they will be available at either show at all.

I really hope that these kits being reproduced is not a myth, because I hate taking off all the plastic stuff, airbox, battery tray,etc..

It would be sweet to get it done in my garage in half an hour, instead of $200 at the dealership,

Hopefully the OP posts up saying whether this is a go or no go on these parts.

not everone wants a new sled every year.... ok i'm lieing not everyone can afford/wife wont let us do so.

Im with ya there, I saved pennies for 10 years to buy my Apex LTX GT. I rode a 93 thundercat with a 900 tripple with tripple aftermarket pipes. I figure maybe every 10 years I might be able to upgrade again.

Especially now, its like buying a car with high interest rates, 12-14k on a new yammi every year takes some serious dough.
