So, is there a fix for this yet?

Just the Alpine bypass wire. Better call fast as the company that supplied those has closed their doors. I doubt supply will last very long.

Not seen anything from CAT on it. So not sure, won't know till I ride it again next season. Almost no one is complaining about this issue on the Cat Chat line, surprising since it is all over the Yamaha site. Livingston's could not reproduce as there wasn't enough snow on the ground to test the high speed issue. 3 things it could be.... Oil pressure is actually low (dealer has never seen), is the sensor itself or the switch that shuts down the engine when low oil pressure. We change the sensor as the switch seemed to be working, it would start to shut down the engine if I did not back off the throttle. If oil pressure issue, doubt oil pressure would recover instantaneously as it does when I back of on the throttle. Other than the clutch rebuild at around 8,000 have had no other issues with the sled. Did the full service at Livingston's so ready to ride next season. Hopefully without the low oil pressure light coming on. LOL

I've never had this problem.Ive got a 2016 mtx 141 and put 4000 on it this year and the only time the light came on was when I would roll on its side and not shut it off fast enough.Ive seen it on this site and was concerned but luckily didn't experience it.I spend some time on the steep hills but mostly carving around in powder for hours with the sled laid over horizontally constantly with no issues at all.I guess this is more a vertical problem on very long pulls?

Maybe its your primary clutch weights. My 2014 ZR 7000 was running over 9200 rpm with the 57 gram stock weights. I heard they gain some HP after break-in. Plus I added a BMP exhaust that added HP. Thinking there is a rev limiter on these Yamaha Genesis motors because it would act that way and then it was fine when I let off the gas. I installed 60 gram weights at end of last season. I'll see if that solves the problem this winter. My light doesn't go on.
