As for the bushings, I use Maxx. perf's bushings. they call them Nylatron, they are harder and longer wearing than stock. They also do not have the slit cut in the side of the bushing.

I just had my skid out. Everything was in such good shape I deceided to keep the warrior as a back up sled and for the kids to ride when they come home.

Wow! Great post! Very informative. I'm new to Yamaha, so I'm trying to catch up on my yami knowledge.
I'm interested also in how much seafoam you put in the oil and gas. I've never heard of it. It doesn't void any warranties does it?
I'd love to get a new Rage next season, but i don't think it's in the budget yet. :?

Powerhaulic, are these bushings specific for the Yamahas? Where do you get them?
Thanks!

I just heard this morning that a puppy (kid) of one of the Doo guys in our group ordered the 1000 Doo. It will be interesting to see.

Jim what secret? I supported my daughter and paid for her schooling until she got out of medical school.
My son got married at 26 and works in our business. He is my best friend and good sledding pal. Now that I am slowing down in the business he is getting bussy big time. There went my favorite riding buddy.
Now I have to put up with the likes of Misfit.

The M10 issues reinforce my statements, in the past, that you are better off staying with OEM. I had to bring my truck down the trail, several years ago, to drag Yamdoc's sled home, because the M10 collapsed.
If all these failures were on an OEM skid, there would be demands for a recall. I wonder why I can't remember posts about the M10 problems.

Dukestar how do you grease the drive shaft bearing and the bearing behind the secondary? do you have to pull the track and chaincase to get at them?
