Have a guy that wants a track for his 83 ss 440. My question is what length and what pitch is he looking for .
He is also thinking of gearing it down to use for trap lining. What gearing or clutching changes would he need and where is a good place to source parts?
I know this should be on the 2smoke side but I feel there are many wise members here that have just as much knowledge of these type of classic sleds.

121” track 2.52 pitch

Most of the old sleds run that track. That sled is so light with a nice 1” track it’s hard to beat in the tight corners.

It’s actually one window shorter than the 121 but my buddy used a 121 on his and it worked.

Yep I just texted him he had to re drill his mounting holes back 2”

the one i have is ending up with phazer II skid and a 121 1-1/4 track from an rx 1. should make the old girl float a bit better and scoot right along.
