Out West TY Ride!!!

Okay, help me out here, Im interested but not sure it this is the right thing for me as I am not a real experienced rider (only 2 years) and just have standard Apex 2008 and a RS Rage GT. Does anything need to be done to the sled at this altitude. Do you run on trails only as well.? Do kids come along e.g. 14yr olds?

I would be coming from Winnipeg, Manitoba.

I have been out there before with a group of 6 and two of the guys rode trails the whole while. Some go out there to ride trails and some go to ride off trail eithor or the scenery is like no other.

change clutching that's about it.For just a trip no need to change jetting on the rage.I was out there a few times with my vector and ran stock jetting.

At this time for a group of 10, rates would be roughly $150/night/adult if we are interested in the package, which includes everything in the description below. If you are not interested in the package, they offer "room only" lodging for $130/night in our lodge rooms, which have two queen beds.

As the size of your group increases, the discount they can offer increases. The rates quoted above denote a 10% discount. 15% to those in your group, should your group size increase beyond 20 guests.

www.TogwoteeLodge.com, please feel free to browse our website. We offer 600+ miles of groomed trails, with 250 million acres of rideable terrain which is unrestricted (as opposed to Yellowstone).

Well, I have offered to tour folk...would be happy to take a couple days...but has to be in Montana...

Everywhere pictured below, is accessible by my son on a Yamaha Bravo...(Except if it is HAMMERED deep) then he would have to ride in our track...So, any sled from 1.75" tracks...and say as small as 136" would be ok...you would only be limited as to where you could play...Keep in mind...one area...we got stuck on Long tracks, 50 feet from the trail...was only two of us...and had fresh 5 feet...yet FIVE feet of pow...even long tracks had to keep speed up...

If your interested...

Day One ride would be right from the hotel (Corral Bar/hotel/restaurant 5 minutes south of Big Sky Ski Resort).... Here are a couple pics of the area...

Day Two would be Riding Taylors Fork....(Can stay at the same place, but would need to trailer to this area)...Depending on how many come out, I could shuttle sleds back and forth (I have a large four place, fits 4 174" sleds)

Day Three would be staying in West Yellowstone at the Golden West Motel (Kurt is killer great guy, nice shop for hanging out)

If people want to ride longer, each of these locales are easy to find your way in, and prevent getting llost...so, should not be an issue...however I could ride for a couple extra days if possible for my schedule...would suggest timeline being late February to Early March for best riding and most sunny days...

I am also, fairly certain I could get a couple vendors to donate a few things for a raffle or fund raiser or whatever...

Am certain Oft Racing would donate some stuff...and possibly Skinz Protective Gear etc.

but all that would be dependent upon number of folk etc. etc.
