Is some room.Not much though.Would depend on cam lift also since they are very close to each other when open.
cannondale27 said:It is really good stock hp.Probably way up there in HP/cc scale.Would be interesting to compare it to some so called high hp motors like Ducati and Ferrari.Is almost always a tradeoff when getting more hp also.
Phazer=80hp .16/cc
Ducati 1098s= 160 hp .14/cc
FerrariEnzo=650hp 1.77/cc
09 Hyabusa=197hp 2.40/cc
So we do real well when compared to 2cylinder motors but not so well compared to four or eight.
RIGIDONE said:I have also been looking into this, I have been talking with a guy named Tim Zarnstorff of Z Force racing about a Serdi vavle job and a port and polish.. From what I understand he does alot of work on AMA motorcross bikes and Jetskis, and from what I have read he is a great guy to deal with and does top notch work.. He says I could expect to see around a 7hp gain, the work was going cost around $600.. Im still on the fence about it, dont really know what im going to do. I have is email address if anyone of you guys want to hook up with him.. I believe he lives in the Northern Illionis area.

Hyabusa=197hp .15/cc
Ferrari Enzo=650hp .10/cc
10 R1=138hp .14/cc
I cant find anything with more hp/cc but some of these are at rear wheel like Hyabusa.We only have 40 or so hp at track.So it doesnt take much to figure out where most gains can be had.Phazer/track40hp=.08/cc
