Pictures of ECP rings and instalation

I have had the velocity rings on for four rides now. I want to say they really work but it's honestly tough to say how much of a difference they have made because I made a bunch of changes in the off season. I will say the sled runs much cleaner now. I honestly can't say how much difference is the carb spring change and how much is the velocity ring addition.

I added the velocity rings
I changed from yellow to red Holtzman springs
I went to 14.5 mm rollers from 15 mm
I geared down from 21 x 40 to 21 x 42
I did the ignition timing modification

Now, I still wonder if my velocity rings are driven too far onto the carbs. The lip beyond the carb bellmouth only about 3/16".

Freddie, thanks for finally bringing these things to market. We have talked about adding the rings for years. It's nice to be able to actually use them and see that they do make a worthwhile difference.

Freddie I got some money and I want some rings LOL Got a number or paypal or credit card machine. I am going up north Feb 3rd and want to beat my buddies Mach Z :die I may needc some NOS too :nos anyway I was wondering about jets I have the ECP kit with filters 165 mains Evac kit cams degreed ignition adv overdrive clutch down 2 teeth in the gearbox I think this is about the only thing I dont have without opening the engine up. I will have to check the post again but I thought we where talking 4-6 HP in the mid and maybe 2-3 more on top is that what I should expect? I know it aint much but every 2-3 HP helps

I think feddie probaply hasnt seen this yet but I can answer your questions.Yes he takes credit cards(thats what I used)and he told me to go ahead and try it with the 165 mains which I did and my plugs look perfect. It doesnt normally get really cold here so the guys running in -0F temps may want to go up to the 170,s .

I tried taking pictures of the plugs but none of them turned out so you could actually see what they look like even in the macro setting.

I am back in the credit card business now race24x. No problem. I did a local to me customer on my inchassis inertia dyno. He was curious about the Velocity Rings. I picked up 3 HP everywhere just by synchronizing his carbs! Another 6 to 7 HP from 3000 to 6700 RPM's and 2 to 3 at peak. I would say that is worth $133.00 with the kick-#*$&@ adhesive.
