Yeah, reading this thread, I PMed Allen yesterday. Didnt even ask what they were. Just told him when he has them, send them to me. :D

I got mine through a auto store for about $4.00 a plug less than from yamaha dealer.

1 heat range colder and a dual electrode plug. The only downfall is they don't come with the threaded caps needed for the Apex plug boot. I should have sets available later this week.

Allen - I'm assuming you've seen good results with these on the dyno. Is there any down side to using them, and can we just use the threaded caps from our original plugs? Also - do you need to gap them or just leave them as is from the box?

Thanks

They seem to be a little harder starting with this plug.. ;)!

As Terry said, they are a little bit harder starting. See a 2-3hp improvement throughout the HP curve over stock. The stock Apex plugs have a solid tip which isn't threaded on so you would have to find some old plugs that have the thread on tip to use if you buy them on your own.

I will have sets of 4 available for $32 shipped in the lower 48 states and they will ready to install when you receive them.

Thats a good price. I think the dealers are at $10.00 a plug.

Terry, the cheapest price I could find online was $6.23 per plug and that was before any shipping charges. You would still have to go through the work of finding a set of screw on caps for the plugs as well.

;)!

Allen would they be worth installing on a modded sled, say w/hauck pipe fuel excellerator and 3 dehree advance timing key,or do you think i would need better than 90 octane to run them w/best results, and who is dynoray??

Pete, I would see no reason you couldn't add them to your sled as well.

Sounds like a good deal Allen. As always - thanks for lending us your expertise.
