Thanks everyone that came out to have some fun at the track in Union Grove on Friday. I had a blast racing and socializing. The Racing at the Grove was way easier then trying to run at WIR.. temps were crazy hot 90s .. I actually had 8 runs in before the rain hit. Best was a 112.16 in 11.191 sec in the 1/4 mile on my final run...

As Mr Sled mentioned, Sunny, temps were crazy hot, (We saw 96° at one point in the day), the humidity was almost unbearable and not to forget the cross/headwind we had all day till the storms came in. You couldn't just stand without beads of sweat pouring down....I lost 9 lbs. this weekend from racing both Saturday and Friday (I think not eating had something to do with it also.

My best run was an 11.128 1/4mile @ 107.16mph. With those temps, headwind and humidity.....it's a 10 second sled in perfect conditions. Found out that revving the sled more by adding the ignition module to the PCV is definitely where the power is on the Viper. Fasteddie came down to the track and in less than a few minutes, we had my PCV unhooked and his PCV with the ignition module hooked up and running. But we did manage to make a run prior to changing the PCV's so we could see what just the difference would be if there was one. The first pass was an 11.260 @ 106.30mph. After the change I ran an 11.226 @ 106.19mph. The 60 foots were pretty close all day and the conditions were the same within that time frame. But slowly changing clutching, a helix change here, weight change there and spring settings....it is really coming around. The sled sounds so much different with the raised rpms and definitely improved on everything.

Thank you Ed for coming down, helping out and was great to meet you! I know the rain came fast so I have your gloves and your ignition, will get those to you asap :)

Thanks to everyone that came down!
