So if the face plate on the TEAM clutchs are cracking how much before the tower starts to crack ? Is team going to replace all the clutchs on thundercats if the clutchs are going to grenade long term ?

Not sure but we do know Yamaha is not and are grenading at a rapid pace. The more I see the more it looks like some bad casting or shall we call it defective. Yamaha answer lately to dealers with warranty issues is was it tuned if so no warranty, if dealer say no they want a diagnostic printout from the ecu before anything is processed. Maybe just the area rep but that is what were seeing. Yamaha primary need to be inspected frequently for cracks and wear and just hope you see something before it breaks. So if the face plate on the TEAM clutchs are cracking how much before the tower starts to crack ? Still not sure about a rapid pace. It seems like 3 to 5 clutches......I'm sure there is more. But what nobody is still willing to answer is any of the details about those cases. Not sure but we do know Yamaha is not and are grenading at a rapid pace. That Polaris is pulling a SW, is that for clutch issues? The photos show Team primaries........just asking.

From what ive been reading, the TAPP and PRO4 are the best for the harmonics, and STMs are a great primary but reading some of the guys saying they are not doing as well with the harmonics, Certainly better then stock clutches but if I was going aftermarket, TAPP is the cadillac of primaries and the Pro4 being a close second.
I think I read here from Terry that the Pro4 accepts the same weights as our YAM primaries, if this is true that is a savings there, not having to buy new weights. And I believe it can run either the Cat wide belt or the yam belts depending on your setup.
Maybe in the end, the Pro4 is something to consider? I believe its a few hundred less the a TAPP.

All clutches crack with wear and hp and your YAMAHA clutch will break quicker along with rollers etc. quit being so Yamaha , oh my clutch is fine ,didn’t run to garage just remember to duck when she blowsMaybe ... but I bet u ran out to your garage and checked your Arctic " best clutch ever designed " right away when the pic was posted ...lol
