From what I have read, smaller primary rollers increase shift force. So dropping to a smaller roller could drop overall rpms from engagement to full throttle?? Would going to a smaller roller and then adjusting the weight to get proper shift and regain peak rpm allow for better backshifting since the overall mass of the weight would be lighter or am I wayyy off?? What are the negatives of going too small on a roller or going too large on a roller? Thanks for the help, I'm just thinking out loud here!

smaller rollers make a bigger differnce on low end rpms & engagement. Top end not as much. Smaller rollers will hurt backshift & low speed throttle response. larger rollers decrease belt grip & increase engagement rpm,s.
Doing what your thinking of doing is just changing 2 things unnecesarily to get the same result.

Thanks Turk! Like I said I was just thinking out loud. Never messed with rollers at all, just trying to understand there effects. Thanks again.
