Proper way to tow a dead sled?

Years ago on a late night ride a buddy runs out of gas .
No rope No strap

But we all had belts on SO>>>>>>

Off with the belt, pull sleds together with the front bumper of empty sled on rear the bumper of running sled then wrapped the belt around many times.....rider told sit toward the rear of the towed sled and we made it to the remote cabin were we had gas. (I believe we took the belt off the towed sled but really can’t remember.....come on over 30 yrs ago. Do remember we came out of the ditch and rode the snow covered roads all the way to the cabin.

I now see the belt trick will work well with the ski loop.....good to know
