Hi,
Thanks for all the great info in this forum. I'm a former Yamaha 4 stroke owner (RX-1 and Apex) (and 2 strokes) but have since bought a Polaris 800 Switchback.
I may be interested in going back 4 stroke and have a quick question about the RTX-DX rear suspension. I was at a dealer and sat on one and pushed down on rear bumper and it felt very stiff. I know this is supposed to be their softest suspension. I weigh 150 lbs. and was concerned about how stiff it was. The spring block was on the softest setting.
Are they normally this stiff or just because it's new? Or will it ride plush and just feels stiff on showroom floor?
Thanks!

The DX does have a very plush ride. The sled was just designed not to have much sag.

The suspensions do soften up with some miles for sure! Rtx dx would be a very nice riding trail machine!
